WEAVE has two amazing stores for you to donate and buy clothes to help support survivor needs. TRUE (Totally Recycled Urban Exchange) in downtown Sacramento and WEAVEWorks on Arden. 100% of proceeds fund programs and services that empower survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to regain their independence and live a life free of violence.
TRUE – A WEAVEWorks Boutique – is a retail clothing boutique. Established in 2015 by WEAVE™, TRUE offers socially conscious fashion plates a gathering place to celebrate style, express individualism, and contribute to making the world a safer place through passion for fashion. Proceeds raised through this social enterprise fund programs and services that empower survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
What is WEAVEWorks Recycled Fashion? WEAVEWorks is more than a brick and mortar retail store that supports WEAVE™, it’s a mecca for fashion do-gooders wishing to support a community free of violence by shopping and/or donating recycled fashion.
The Wear It. Share It. program offers an opportunity for local companies, offices, and groups to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking by serving as a drop-off location for donations of gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories.
How we help: The WEAVE to Work program provides free professional clothing to people seeking to regain their independence through employment.Through the program, participants will work with a personal shopper to select one week’s worth of career appropriate clothing; building personal style and confidence.
