On May 7, hundreds of non-profits in the Greater Sacramento region celebrated the Big Day of Giving (BDOG)! Big Day of Giving is held annually to raise much needed funds for non-profits doing vital work for our community. Held every first Thursday in May, thousands of people give back to their favorite causes. This year during this exciting 24 hours, over $15 million was raised to support the amazing people and work in this region that are the backbone of our community. 

So how did WEAVE do? With a goal to raise $125,000, our donors amazed us and blew past that goal, raising $129,044 this BDOG! Nearly 350 donors stepped up to show us here at WEAVE that our mission to end violence in Sacramento has the full support of our community. We here at WEAVE are so grateful to our supporters that continue to act with us. We can show up every community centers, law enforcement agencies, courtrooms, counseling sessions, offices, and so much more because of the trust you place in us, on BDOG and every day.
