Act to End Violence: Engaging Men & Boys
Join WEAVE and the Center for Fathers and Families on January 31 for a screening of The Mask You Live In
To launch Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, join WEAVE and the Center for Fathers and Families for a screening of The Mask You Live In and a conversation about gender socialization, healthy relationships, and how to engage men and boys in preventing teen dating violence.
The screening will held on Wednesday, January 31 at 5 pm at the Guild Theatre.
The Mask You Live In was produced by The Representation Project and explores America’s narrow definition of masculinity and the harm it causes boys and men. You can watch a trailer for the film here.
The screening and subsequent discussion are intended for youth 15 years and older attending with an adult. Coaches, youth group leaders, parents, and caregivers are encouraged to attend along with the youth they support.
