1. Complete your fundraising page early and make it personal. Upload a fun photo and personalize your fundraising story, messages, etc.

2. Ask everyone you know. The fundraising page makes asking easy by sending an email link to your page which includes a “Support Me” button on it.

3. Keep your supporters up to date on how you are doing. Share links to the your fundraising page on Facebook and Twitter or email updates weekly.

4. Don’t be afraid to ask more than once. You will get an immediate response when you first ask and then the gifts will taper down. Send out a reminder email letting everyone know your progress and how close you are to your goal.

5. START EARLY. The earlier you begin spreading the word, the more “pumped” up your supporters will be.
