Interested in hosting a Community Partnership Fundraising Event?

Hosting a fundraising event can be a creative and fun way to partner with WEAVE to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault and give to a great cause. There are a variety of events that you can plan and host, the sky is the limit.

Examples of Community Partnership Fundraising Events:

• Fashion Show
• Coffee Shop Concert with live music: charge at the door
• Car wash
• Dinner party "Spaghetti for Survivors"
• Wine & Cheese Party
• Jean Day: $5 to wear jeans to work
• Loose Change collection drive
• Ice Cream Social

Examples of recent Community Partnership Events

• Sacramento County Probation Department hosted a robe drive during the holidays and collected over 85 robes for the women staying at the Safehouse.
• Rubicon Brewery hosted the 2nd Annual Women In Brewing Festival to benefit WEAVE and donated $1,800 in proceeds from the event! Thank you Rubicon!
• A local BUNKO group decided to donate money to WEAVE that they otherwise would have spent buying themed gifts for one another. Their generosity totaled $145 for survivors!
• The 11th Annual Nissan Retire Your Attire clothing drive collected over 6,000 articles of clothing to benefit WEAVE's Suited for Success program. Thank you for your generosity!
