Domestic Violence Response Team

The Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) is a program WEAVE offers to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors living in Elk Grove. DVRT is a joint project of the Elk Grove Police Department and WEAVE.

DVRT services include:

• Support and advocacy through the investigative and criminal justice processes
• Inform survivor of community resources including Victims of Crime Compensation Program               
• Help with filing for a Temporary Restraining Order
• Accompaniment to case related court hearings
• Accompaniment to Detective and DA interviews
• Information regarding arrests, bail and releases
• Prioritized referrals to WEAVE's Legal Department
• Assist with accessing WEAVE's services, including the Safehouse and counseling for themselves; their children; and their significant others

WEAVE Services Workshop: is held the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm on 8380 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758.
