WEAVE is currently accepting applicants for the position of full-time Response Services Lead.  This position is under the direct supervision of the Residential and Crisis Response Services Manager, and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) and Support and Information Line Programs. The Response Services Lead also assists with the Residential Program, assists with the agency’s 70 hour classroom PCT certification course, emergency response, professional trainings, and community speaking engagements. 

Responsibilities: Training, supporting and evaluating Residential Services staff and volunteers; facilitating corrective actions and disciplinary actions as needed; maintaining adequate supplies for both the SART program and the Support Line; and coordinating staff and volunteer schedules to provide adequate coverage for all Response Services programs.  Lead responsibilities also include reviewing and approving all Response Services staff documentation and preparing required program reports in a timely manner;  following up on grant objectives; being available for on-call residential/shelter phone consultation as needed as well as for SART and Support Line consultation after hours; coordinating victim accompaniment to law enforcement and district attorney interviews and facilitating optimized working relationships with law enforcement, the district attorney’s office, and area hospital ER departments; attending Sexual Assault Advisory Committee (SAAC), and CALCASA meetings; and conducting regularly scheduled SART meetings with staff and volunteers.  Other responsibilities include revising resource directory on an annual basis; answering the WEAVE message board; and communicating information updates to staff and volunteers

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree and three years of SART experience, supervisory experience, and experience handling crisis intervention services in a medical, mental health, or victim services agency, or 5 years of experience in any combination of education and experience to meet job requirements.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, excellent organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills essential. Valid California driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a clear criminal background check required.
