Position Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Programs Officer, this position is responsible for the oversight, implementation and effective management of residential services, including a Safehouse, Cottages, and Apartments for WEAVE clients. As a member of the leadership team, the Manager ensures quality service delivery for these programs, facilities and personnel, and helps to ensure the programs are operating in an effective and efficient manner in order to provide continuity of care of services that are client focused and mission driven. This position’s responsibility includes recruiting, hiring and training staff/interns/volunteers, as well as managing grant writing, compliance monitoring, and ensuring fiscal accountability. This position will serve as the representative of WEAVE’s programming to the external community.  The Manager will also cultivate and maintain working relationships with social service agencies in the community including legal, medical, educational and housing services.  The Manager will establish and implement policies, procedures and safety guidelines as needed.  This position will oversee our 24/7 crisis response services duties which intersect with residential services. This position ensures success of the overall programs and all of its components, as well as contributes to the overall success of meeting the agency’s mission statement.

  • Overall Residential Program administration

  • Policy development and administration to ensure compliance with all government, funding, and clinical regulations, as well as alignment with WEAVE’s mission and core values
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, developing and supervising staff – including employees, interns and volunteers
  • Experience with a trauma informed, strength based. client centered approach
  • Counseling skills
  • Safety compliance and risk management
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programs, provide feedback, and make adjustments as needed
  • Ability to identify, form and develop community partnerships
  • Budget development and oversight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm and professional demeanor under stress
  • Ability to ensure and foster transparency in communication throughout the organizational structure
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities

Qualifications: Education and Training Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in behavioral science field. LCSW or MFT preferred, plus three years of management experience in a domestic violence program or residential services setting.  Or, a Bachelor’s degree in human services field and five years management experience
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid California driver license, reliable transportation, and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Satisfactory results from DOJ background check
