WEAVE offers an array of educational options tailored to different professional groups in Sacramento County. WEAVE has worked in partnership with medical professionals, law enforcement, homeless service providers, private businesses, other community educators, and many more to build knowledge and capacity in regards to domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. Topics are customized based on the experience and needs of the audience.

Information regarding the physical, emotional, and mental impact of domestic violence on children.

Teen Dating Violence

Information regarding prevalence, types of abuse, cycle of violence, effective intervention and prevention strategies.

Supporting Someone Who Has Been Assaulted

Discussion regarding how to support a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault including assessment, intervention, resources, and safety planning.

Mandated reporting-Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault

Information regarding reporting requirements when domestic violence or sexual assault is suspected or confirmed. Training includes local resource and how to refer victims.
