WEAVE & SNAHC Healthy Families Video

News release

WEAVE and the Sacramento Native American Health Center have been working together to strengthen families including supporting families experiencing intimate partner violence. Together, we want to continue our work of honoring the tradition of healthy families.

We will be creating a short video that celebrates healthy families as a tradition and value of Native communities. The video will also share important information about how to ask for and receive help if you are experiencing family violence.

We are asking the community to join us in creating the video by sharing photographs of your healthy families. The photographs can show you being active together, participating in Native celebrations, and enjoying your family time.

The photographs submitted and chosen will only be used for the video and will not be used for any other promotion or publication by WEAVE or SNAHC. Each selected photo will require a signed release for every person (adult and children) allowing for its use in the video.

Submitted photos must be at least 1920 x 1080 in size and be landscape orientation.

To submit your photo for consideration, please email a high resolution photo to info@weaveinc.org with the contact name and email address of the person submitting who has the authority to obtain a photo release for all adults and children in the photographs.
